Mount de Sales Academy, an independent Catholic school established in 1876 and sponsored and inspired by the Sisters of Mercy, is a Christ-centered college preparatory community of learners who are poised to discover, challenged to innovate, and motivated to serve.

Primary responsibility is to assist in articulating and perpetuating the vision and philosophy of Jesuit education for the adult members of the Loyola Blakefield community: Trustees, faculty and staff, parents, alumni, and friends.*Provide opportunities for adult community members to grow in their understanding of what forms the charism of a Jesuit school. This understanding centers on themes that include Ignatian spirituality, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, and Ignatian pedagogy. *Assist adult members of the school community in their roles as keepers of the Ignatian vision.*Lead the Ignatian Mission and Identity team which is comprised of our Director of Ignatian Service and Justice, Director of Campus Ministry, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and our Chaplain.

Collaborated closely with the Loyola Blakefield community to create and cultivate retreats, liturgies, and prayer services rooted in the Jesuit charism on which the school was founded. Emphasis was placed on developing men who pray, act and serve for and with others.*Planned events for all students.*Managed a programming budget.*Provided leadership opportunities and work with faculty, staff and students to cultivate skills.*Innovated to respond to evolving student needs. *New initiatives included retreats focused on healthy relationships, learning about issues surrounding race, athletic and cyber security retreats.*Expanded programming for middle school and 50% increase in student leadership opportunities.

Taught seventh and eighth grade Social Studies and Religion classes, acted as campus minister and director of mission and identity. *Created new programming for spiritual development of students and adults. *Led the school through Jesuit sponsorship agreement review.
