Reporting to the Founder & CEO, supervising the Development Operations Manager and supplemental admin/event support roles, and working closely with the Managing Directors of Development to oversee and strengthen all fundraising capabilities and departmental infrastructure critical to the successful and effective implementation of the organization’s annual development plan.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• serving as strategic partner to Chief Executive Officer and Managing Directors of Development in ensuring organization's success in meeting its annual fundraising and campaign goals• develops, implements, and monitors fundraising systems including reporting mechanisms, information technology, and data infrastructure to support operations relating to all fundraising programs consistent with organization's strategic plan• monitors IRS regulations pertaining to gift acceptance, processing, and acknowledgements, ensuring organization's practices are consistent and compliant with all regulations• liaises with Chief Financial Officer on financial reporting, reconciliation, tracking, projections, and other issues• participates in external and internal audits, overseeing implementation of audit recommendations• assesses and determines appropriate technologies including fundraising CRM, managing projects related to selection, installation, implementation, and maintenance of fundraising technologies• partners with IT department to ensure departmental compliance with organizational policies and practices• provides leadership, training, mentoring, and support for all departmental fundraising technologies• oversees timely and accurate production of all gift reporting, statistical analyses, and evaluations• supervises gift acceptance, processing, recording, and tracking• oversees adherence to gift policies and donor intent
