With a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology from Lakehead University, as well as a Site Manager Certificate and Activity Coordinator Certificate from Red Deer College, I possess a broad range of skills and knowledge that I have furthered with certifications from the Eden Alternative and CPI. In my previous roles, including my most recent positions as General Manager at Chartwell Rideau Place Retirement Residence and Waterford Grand Retirement Residence, I have demonstrated my ability to lead teams and oversee operations, budgeting, and strategic planning with a focus on achieving exceptional outcomes. Through effective communication with residents, family, staff, and leaders, I have improved staff morale and resident satisfaction, while also ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
