As an elementary school teacher I developed and implemented a developmentally appropriate training strategy for 3rd grade math and science based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) to meet the organization's goals. I also worked cooperatively with team members, other grade levels, administration, and parents to achieve campus and district goals by going over data consistently. I communicated frequently and effectively with parents, students, and faculty to provide feedback and set plan to increase student learning.

As a substitute teacher I quickly established relationships and rapport with students and teachers. I received 98% positive feedback from teachers in which lead me to be booked repeatedly. I instructed math, reading, writing, science, and social studies (average 22 students per class) from grades Kinder-3.

SpringSpirit's mission is to provide safe pathways for youth to realize life opportunities through sports, education, and mentoring programs.As a mentoring coordinator, I recruited, interviewed, and trained qualified adults to be mentors and provided support to 40 mentor clients to ensure lasting and meaningful relationships. I also planned, organized, and managed monthly events for 40-130 people. I was also in charge of managing and updating the mentoring monthly budget.
