As Chief Financial Officer, I reported directly to the Board of Directors with responsibility for all financial functions of the corporation including monthly financial statement preparation, grant/contract administration, tax preparation, billing and collections, payroll and benefits, general accounting, and facilitation of all audits from state, local, and federal grantors.Accomplishments include:• Reversed three consecutive years of net losses and recorded the largest net gain in agency history.• Increased accounts receivable collections by 62%.• Eliminated all agency operating debt and increased cash reserves by 730%.• Performed productivity analyses on senior agency management providing the basis for a corporate reorganization.• Implemented new programs that tripled the agency operating budget in 4 years.As Interim Executive Director from October 2006 – July 2007 and November 2007 – January 2009, I managed the administration of the agency in addition to the duties of the Chief Financial Officer. I had direct responsibility for fundraising and budget management, program development, personnel management, volunteer recruitment, grant writing, marketing and media relations, public relations, policy development, crisis management, and strategic planning.
