I contracted with the Ohio High School Athletic Association to continue maintaining and improving their website for scheduling sporting events, administering tournaments and training new officials. - Created a tool for administrators to run custom queries against their school data. This replaced a nightly data dump with a static output. The new tool allowed users to get data on demand and get the output they wanted without having to manually manipulate a file. - Worked on ongoing integration with a 3rd party to take over officiating assignments and contest scheduling. This included processes to receive business critical data for the selection of tournament officials. - Continued in all duties relating to the OHSAA from my job at DigitalScout / PlayOn Sports

OHSAAManaged the Ohio High School Athletic Association's website for schedulingsporting events, assigning officials and administering tournaments for allinterscholastic sports in Ohio.- Lead a team in rewriting a legacy ASP Webforms application in MVC. Thisgreatly reduced the number of bugs and the amount of invalid data in thesystem.- Rewrote complex calculations for determining football tournament rankingsand seeding. This took a 6 hour weekly job and turned it into a task that couldbe run on demand in under 15 seconds, allowing for more frequent updatesand allowing administrators to see the possible effects of disqualifying teams.- Integrated a 3rd party payment processing system that takes in $1,000,000every June for officiating renewal fees.- Created a new system to make school sport schedules easily available tofamilies, students and the community.GameCenterGameCenter is a system which provides live stats from high school sporting eventsto the public on the web.- Created an integration between OHSAA and GameCenter to allow both systemsto share data, greatly improving the user experience from both systems.- Created numerous administrative reports to help our business owners knowhow the system is being used and how to increase user engagement.
