Astrophysics University Projects:- Worked collaboratively to design and machine a prototype spectrometer that would glide along a track to observe diffracted light.- Observed a 2500 km^2 region on Mars using the JMARS software, and analyzed crater sizes which were >2km in size. We then exported the data to Excel where we constructed incremental and cumulative crater size distributions for analysis.- Developed paper discussing the Sun and its effects caused by its magnetic fields, such as solar winds, coronal mass ejections, and solar flares.- Coded a Python programming project in an independent environment that involved analyzing FITS files of the M98 Galaxy (Messier-98). I then coded and constructed images that showed what the galaxy looks like within several different wavelength bands. I also analyzed the brightness, luminosity, and apparent magnitude within each band.- Programmed Python project in independent environment that produced an animated model of our solar system and how the objects physically move within it.
