Led re-platforming and expansion of the company’s key strategic differentiator-Created 5-year roadmap: Led the team through a vision exercise, to replace 17-year-old legacy code with scalable, modular data architecture including real-time streaming analytical data flow, a data lake, and machine learning platform. Built the business case: Gained agreement from the C-suite to launch this initiative by consolidating stakeholder requirements, creating a change management plan and data strategy. Managed vendor selection, contract negotiations and the technology POCs.-Defined the organizational structure: Introduced and convinced broader organization on the need and concept of a Data Engineer.
