I am very passionate about what I work on. I couldn’t tell you why, I couldn’t even tell myself why, it’s just the type of person that I am. Growing up, I’ve had the privilege of cultivating the person that I am in many diverse places. I spent the bulk of my childhood in Michigan and Connecticut, and I moved to Switzerland where I ended up finishing junior high school and completed half of high school. Then I found myself in San Jose, California where I ended up finishing the remainder of my high school career. Today I find myself in such an incredible city: New York, where I am continuing to challenge myself in such an amazing environment.All of the environments that I grew up in molded me into a person I am proud of today. In addition to my passion about my work, I am also motivated by results. I find extreme satisfaction in the result of doing absolutely everything I can. When working with a team, I feel compelled to, once again, do everything I possibly can to uplift, support, and guide my colleagues. Something about another person depending on me for anything motivates me to do my best and more. I’ve come to realize how I am motivated through experiences in school and volunteering. I’ve volunteered in soup kitchens when I was younger, processed food for the disadvantaged, renovated an orphanage in Bosnia, and more. These experiences helped me learn that I thoroughly enjoy making an impact. I also know that I really enjoy connecting with others. I love to learn about the lives of others and what drives them. The collaborative space offered through volunteer experiences accelerates this connection between new people and myself, and because of this I will always be interested in volunteering.I am currently looking to enter into a career in finance. I’ve always been interested in numbers, data, and trends. Twelve year old me was very interested in the difference between how much a new video game would cost vs.how much money I have. I am frequently drawn to the financial side of business and wish to learn more about the space and the exciting opportunities that exist within it.
