These 4 months each year were a pure joy to me, busy productive months with often 16 hour days, dealing with multiple personalities, ethnicities, cultures, ages and weather patterns. Initially a face to face fundraiser. I moved on to coach, mentor and eventually run teams on the fundraising role. Running shifts, arranging trips, dealing with legislation.

Outbound cold call sales to a target each month. Maintaining relationships and existing contacts/clients, This was part of my travels but was a role I really enjoyed. Talking to people all over the UK and EU.

Initially a door to door salesman with phone Internet and tv I later moved on to planning multi dwelling unit connections, dealing with landlords, tenants, contractors and focusing on sales targets and cost return equations.

A Mobile Disco company working in entertainment and music, disco max provided entertainment at weddings, parties and events.

In a smaller site in my home town I took a role in a store as a salesperson specializing in technology. Well placed to learn about windows products and cellphones as they were introduced from around 1995. I was quite lucky to work with a friend from school days and between us we helped train around 6 managers for larger stores. An amazing chance to really see different styles of management.
