This opportunity allows me to contribute to all aspects of architecture with a diverse and dynamic team. Involvement in all phases of project work including schematic design, design development, contract document production, contract administration and project management. The production of construction drawings and details, design drawings for such building types including commercial and institutional, community centers and heritage buildings. Throughout these projects work closely with the stakeholders, engineers, consultants and general contractor to ensure delivery of a successful project.

Oversaw the Early Works contract which consisted or existing parking lot and roadway relocation in preparation for the new North Tower construction to begin late 2015. A number of new and additional barrier-free spaces and limited mobility spaces were added to the parking lots to help accommodate those in need. New Duress stations were added to the site which provides a direct link back to security should any medical of safety issue occur outside of the hospital (within the parking areas). Coordinator for the Redevelopment Project (North Building) which included a new Emergency Department, Surgical Suite, Medical Device Reprocessing Department and a permanent home for the Mental Health and Addiction Program. A 106,000 sq.ft. Facility achieving LEED Bronze Certification and energy savings features such as LED lighting, a new Building Automation System and energy efficient mechanical equipment (boilers, chillers, air-handling units).Worked closely with hospital staff, architects and consultants including Infrastructure Ontario on many hospital projects to support the patient experience and level of care offered some of which included: New CT and CT Suite refresh, Intensive Care Unit renovation, Mammography Suite and X-Ray rooms, new Surgical Services Procedure Room, renovations to Women and Children's department, Barrier Free shower upgrades, additional security measures for Mental Health Extra Care rooms, exterior entry door replacements, Office Renovations, lighting upgrades and extensive Wayfinding to name a few.Motivating team members by sharing project and organizational visions, open communication, support staff ideas, making staff feel appreciated empowering team members to grow and achieve their goals.

Liaison between the Hospital and contractors for construction phases (Civil Works and the new London Health Sciences Power Plant construction) in preparation for future London Mental Health development. Work diligently with general contractors, consultants, architects, engineers and vendors to ensure construction is completed within the allotted timeframe.Compile scope of work and corresponding drawings in order to acquire competitive bids through Request for Proposal (RFP). Coordinate design and layout of new office space for department / employee relocations, furniture purchases, renovations and way-finding.
