During my first summer, I was tasked to create a comprehensive database of 5000 parts to increase the efficiency of the sales staff during part selection for order building. Functionality included updating part numbers and helping create links between updated parts and what parts used to be sold. This also included getting images of every part so the sales staff could have a visualization of the part they were using to build a customers order.During the second summer, I continued to add functionality through the use of data validation and monitoring price changes. I also provided tools and analytics to help management make informed decisions including shipping patterns and product profit.
