Over the past seven years I have helped newspapers (New York Times), broadcasters (RTBF, WDR, DW, SRF, ORF and many more) and campaign groups (38 Degrees) make better video. I’ve worked with hundreds of journalists and filmmakers everywhere from Munich to Tunisia.

Developing new original formats for social platforms like Facebook and YouTube.

* Filmed over 33 short films on a variety of topics including facial disfigurement, being a doctor, Bipolar Disorder, being vegan, Autism... so many topics!* The films have had a lot of success on Facebook and YouTube. Our film about Down's Syndrome has had over 12m views on Facebook and one about trans issues has had over 500k views on YouTube. On average, the first 18 films averaged over 1.1m views each.* A researcher and I do the whole process ourselves - including casting, filming, editing, subtitles and doing the audio-mix.

Worked with animation companies and composers to produce a series of short films on artificial intelligence, the changes happening in the car industry and negative yields.

• Relaunched the show with a new set, music and branding and an editorially ambitious agenda which included a controversial debate on being gay and Muslim in a mosque; a programme inside a mental health hospital with an audience entirely made up of those with a mental health problem; and four election shows featuring leaders of the main political parties. We also talked about trusting the police in Broadwater Farm, Tottenham; whether prison works in a courthouse in Nottingham; and immigration in Thanet, Nigel Farage's target seat.• Brought social media in-house for the first time and made it key to the editorial shape of the programme through the Choose Our Questions page (allowing the audience at home got to submit and vote on what a programme talks about). We also produced daily online graphics, films, and other content just for the online audience. As well as producing a number of 'breakout'​ hits (graphics or films reaching audiences of millions) these changes have meant we have tripled our Facebook likes and Twitter follows in a year (just 14 hours of broadcast) and seen huge increases in reach and engagement. • We have punched above our weight to bring in big panellists from high-level politicians (Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg, Alastair Campbell - in total 5 party leaders) to comedy talent like Russell Kane• Commissioned numerous short films from a variety of UK film-makers. Gained access to a range of extraordinary contributors, from a young British Israeli army soldier to a Britain's first Muslim drag queen.• Led a team to produce a series of light-hearted but rigorous 'explainer' videos on the main UK political parties. The videos got picked up within the BBC and put on the Newsbeat website and other outlets
