As an educator, possesses the skill to manage both an entire classroom of students, while still being able to still see the students as individuals who all learn and experience life through different lenses. Has also gained the skill of working well with parents in order to ensure the best outcome for each student. Ability to work alongside other teachers in developing interdisciplinary projects, field trips and other plans has also been developed throughout years spent in the classroom. A credentialed teacher in History/Social Science, has taught both American Government and Economics to high school seniors, as well as assisted in teaching Modern World History and Honors U.S. History to sophomores and juniors. Also has prior experience with Mild/Mod Special Education students in an inclusion based high school. Attending the University of San Diego for the next two years, receiving an additional credential in Special Education as well as a Masters in Special Education. Runs tutoring business specializing in SAT/ACT Prep, college essay writing, high school History/Social Science, English as well as middle school H/SS, English, Math and Spanish.
