My choice of major is rooted in an interest in human interactions and its role in a business's success. Throughout my academic journey, I have found myself developing a love for people, building relationships, and bettering my communication skills. Pursuing a sales role allows me the opportunity to do what makes me the happiest on a day to day basis, making it a natural choice for a career. Since I’ve been in college, I have been able to develop my marketing and sales skills through being a sales intern at Southern Aluminum and developing freelance social media projects for clients. My future education plan involves obtaining a Masters of Business Administration from SAU. On campus, I am actively involved in the Rankin College of Business. I currently serve as Executive of Recruitment for both Future Business Leaders of America and Mulerider$ense. These organizations allow me to lead efforts in marketing campaigns, events, and outreach programs. I also contribute to the Business Student Advisory Council. I have successfully created a business proposal for an Entrepreneurship Pitch Idea Competition that placed first. Additionally, I am participating in the Arkansas Governor's Cup Collegiate Business Plan Competition.Not only have these experiences helped me gain leadership skills, but they have also improved my public speaking, collaborative and organizational skills. These experiences and my work history make transitioning into the workforce exciting! I am enthusiastic to apply these abilities to create value for your company!
