About Brennan Smith

I am currently attending the University of Connecticut as an undergraduate Sophomore studying Physiology & Neurobiology as well as Molecular & Cellular Biology. Through this course of study, I am using current research to gain a deep understanding of body and brain functions at molecular, cellular, and systemic levels.I am heavily involved in medical-related extracurriculars on campus as a member of the Medical Clinic Club, Pre-Medical Society, and Sigma Theta Alpha Pre-Health Fraternity, and as an executive board member of the National Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness ProgramI intend to further my education by either attending medical school or entering a graduate program after the completion of my undergraduate studies. I am passionate about studying and engaging with current research across disciplines and look forward to further exploring my interests in neuroscience, oncology, and biomedical research.
