Was responsible for delivering customer service as I worked the customer service area. I had to answer a lot of phone calls coming in, while dealing with customers so it really built up my multi tasking abilities. I'm used to making phone calls, as I had to do that a lot while getting questions about deliveries and trying to locate people's deliveries for them.Being a cashier by the pro desk got me used to learning how to try to sell more items to customers. It started to get to be easier just taking a glance at what they had in their cart, asking what they were working on and then trying to sell them more of what they need and possible services so they don't have to install this stuff themselves.I was also a delivery associate when I moved down to york for a year and a half. During that time I had gotten used to meeting with customers and trying to meet their needs with the items they had bought. Some times the items would have a dent in the appliance and we would have to accommodate the customer. Meeting with the customers in person really helped with my social skills as well, as it forced me to get out of the box and talk to people and step out of my comfort zone.
