Initially responsible for architecting and re-implementing mission critical call center administration tools to replace their legacy systems. Due to successful retirement of legacy systems, grew to be responsible for the architecture and technical direction of all call center applications and infrastructure. Helped grow and guide a team of 20 into over 250 engineers and project managers. Mentored engineers and architects to grow technically and be more effective in working with others.Assisted on a number of initiatives at the corporate level. Introduced Git as an alternative and superior source management system, enhancing productivity and substantially raising morale for all engineers across the organization. Served on a council to help focus the organization on improving resiliency and reliability of the infrastructure corporate-wide, resulting in 50% less downtime within the first year preventing the potential loss of millions in revenue. Instrumental in the corporation's selection and migration to Amazon AWS cloud services including leading our group to be the first in the entire organization to fully move a mission critical application to the cloud.
