I was responsible for developing course materials for the Economics and Business Statistics (ECO 391) course in the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky.

As a member of the Peer Review Board I was responsible for evaluating paper and poster submissions for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' 2022 Economic Scholars Program (ESP). The Dallas ESP is a conference for undergraduate research in economics which is co-hosted by the Dallas Fed and Austin College. This was a volunteer position.

I worked as a summer intern on the FedLine Services Technical Operations team, which helps to provide critical payment and information services to more than 100,000 users across nearly 10,000 organizations. I primarily worked on developing, updating, and revising documentation for automated monitoring services and constructing a proof-of-concept system using Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools. I also gained experience with the Agile development methodology and working in a remote environment. Additionally, I collaborated with a team of other interns on a group project which analyzed quantitative and qualitative survey data to create recommendations for the improvement of the internship program, resulting in a presentation which came in 1st place in the intern project competition. I was also able to observe the organizational transition from product offices to a unified Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) enterprise and networked with a wide variety of interns and full-time employees. During the 2021-22 school year I interned with the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security with a focus on cybersecurity. I produced a weekly open-source cyber threat intelligence product that was distributed to 450+ law enforcement and critical infrastructure organizations and developed a detailed assessment of cyber threats against the financial services sector. Additionally, I worked on a series of videos designed to educate critical infrastructure organizations about cybersecurity best practices, wrote cyber-related social media posts, and received training in data analysis and structured analytic techniques.

My primary responsibility was investigating storage solutions for the DNA sequences and other data which was being generated.
