I'm originally from Southern California, now residing in upstate South Carolina. I'm married to my beloved husband Don and we work our businesses together, as we have done everything in all the years we've been married. I'm a grandmother of 17 and the great-grandmother of 20.I'm an author, speaker and publisher, as well as former Director of Marketing for two national organizations and one international organization.I made a career change to nursing after my Sweetheart's 1st heart attack. As a Registered Nurse I have worked ICU, CCU, NICU and as a Certified Hospice Nurse. I've also been Director of Staff Development and a Director of Nursing.For the past 25 years, Don & I have maintained a private, no-kill animal sanctuary called Shepherd's Haven. We hope to expand from a two-person self-funded operation to a non-profit regional one, employing numerous animal lovers.We believe we are working to fulfill our purpose in life, especially spreading the message of our books, audio books, DVDs, and training programs.
