🌟 "Success is not just about what you accomplish in life, it's about what you inspire others to do."I am a Singapore Polytechnic student pursuing a Diploma in Engineering with Business, with a passion for engineering and its applications in the business world. I am interested in embarking on a career in project management and business development, stemming from my interest and knowledge of engineering principles and business strategiesDuring my time in Singapore Polytechnic, I have completed multiple projects, including my year 2 project where I developed a fall detector for elderly individuals. This product could be mounted onto ceilings and walls to detect falls in a room. Once a fall is detected, guardians are alerted through a mobile app and can check the infrared camera to see if the person is hurt. This project allowed me to incorporate multiple theories that i have learned into a practical solution, such as 3D printing, prototyping, programming.My passion from engineering with business originated from my time in Bowen Secondary School where I attended an entrepreneur workshop that sparked my interest in business. Additionally, my strong performance in math and physics led me to pursue engineering. This combination of interests guided me to this course, as I wanted to deepen my knowledge in both fields.Singapore Polytechnic has not only expand my knowledge in engineering and business but has also given me many opportunities, such as leadership roles like Main Committee of Social Relations and involvement in the table tennis team, which has broaden my horizons and further developed skills of teamwork and communication.I look forward to gaining more knowledge and experience in the field of engineering and business through my internship this year.
