Very responsive to student needs and able to modify content using experience, research, and creativity. -Coordinator for state-mandated online standardized test (WIDA), which involves organizing and testing 80+ students with uncertain attendance patterns over the course of two months and administering diagnostic testing August-April.-Work closely with other ELL faculty and oversee Instructional Assistants.-Use Google Suite for collaboration with team and for creating nearly all content.

-Coordinator for Academic English/ESL writing level 20A and reading and vocabulary courses. Responsible for the creation of program curriculum, including course calendars, rubrics, and major program assignments, such as essay prompts, vocabulary practice packets, and exams. -Conduct 20A instructor meetings and maintain standard of excellence and consistency by keeping in close contact with faculty (up to ten instructors), observing classes, and providing feedback. -Coordinate English Development Workshop Series, a professional development opportunity for faculty to instruct outside the classroom on a broad range of topics. Expanded series from three to five workshops per quarter and increased student attendance. -Present on topics relevant to ESL through the Center for Engaged Instruction (now called Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation) and develop and execute inaugural teaching assistant (TA) training workshop for international TA's

-Lecturer for the Program in Academic English/ESL, which services mainly international students or students who require additional support before taking rigorous academic writing at the collegiate level. -Prepare and execute classes which focus on basic academic English writing standards, including format, grammar, and content. Attentive to diversity of the student population in order to create supportive lesson plans designed for student success.-Create content, build course calendar, and maintain student records using Canvas LMS or Blackboard.
