I’ve always enjoyed being active… both physically and mentally. I was taught from a very young age that I can achieve nearly anything if I’m willing to put in the work. This lesson has blessed me with many opportunities in my life. I’ve enjoyed being a member of numerous sport teams, I learned to play guitar - badly, and I have learned to value education and personal improvement. Both my parents were bankers, so fiscal responsibility was a given in my family. My dad taught me about stocks at a very young age, which help me pay for my first car. My parents believed the work and effort I put in to buy my own first car was an invaluable life experience; they were right. I might have a seven-year-old Kia with 140,000 miles, but it’s mine and I earned it.One of my goals now is to help educate as many fellow students as I can about financial planning. Most young people are ignorant to the basics of finance; I worry that this will have a severe impact on their ability to buy a house, pay for education, or retire at a reasonable age someday.I look forward to this becoming a big part of my career someday. I enjoy helping people and feel that we have a responsibility to look out for each other.
