As key member of the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Governance group, I was responsible for creating and developing contract strategies for AT&T’s most critical IT outsourced development agreements with more than $1B in annual spend.This role was in addition to management and transition of duties into AT&T after the Acquisition of DTV. Under this role I led Strategic Sourcing initiatives and contract strategies that saved over $50M, helped mitigate risk and cost of user migration from DTV to AT&T platforms, and led the transition of services to the purchaser of DTV.Other Specific Responsibilities:-Built and negotiated an innovative estimation model utilized across a global resource base of Full-Time Employees (FTEs), delivering millions in annual cost savings from one of AT&T’s largest global outsourced development suppliers (managed services).-SLAs, Cost Analysis, Financial modeling, and Internal client support for all the major global managed services providers (the top four market leaders).-Achieved over $50M in cost savings from one of our largest strategic outsourced vendor accounts by leading contract negotiations, clarifying complex pricing structures, and optimizing vendor performance for billing and customer care applications.-Expertise in vendor management and global resource sourcing, ensuring optimal contract terms, compliance, and value extraction from large-scale IT development contracts.In this role I was also given the opportunity to share my passion about mentoring others in emerging technologies, driving data analytics initiatives, and implementing innovative solutions to solve complex IT and business challenges..

IT Transparency & Cost Optimization & IT Vendor DirectorStarting a new role with DirecTV from telecommunications to IT, I quickly moved through the IT organization and assumed responsibility for the entire CIO budget exceeding $400M+ covering all the critical software suppliers and data center vendors. In addition, I was responsible for the complete data center operational contracts and the disaster recovery services.I managed two diverse teams that ran IT Analytics using Cognos, Apptio, and Tableau and a team of business and technology analysts to evaluate every new large deal in IT Operations.Other Specific Responsibilities:-Pioneered the first enterprise-wide IT Financial Transparency initiative, providing executive leadership with actionable insights into the total cost of ownership (TCO) for IT services, applications, and infrastructure. Leveraged Apptio and other data-driven ITFM (IT Financial Management) solutions to enable better budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.-Delivered over $50M in cost savings by driving financial accountability, improving resource allocation, and optimizing IT spending across the organization.-Led comprehensive analyses and strategic initiatives for large-scale software licensing negotiations and Supplier management including SaaS, on-premise, and cloud-based software agreements, ensuring compliance and risk management while reducing licensing costs.-Advised on critical data center migration projects, managing risk, cost, and timelines while ensuring business continuity during infrastructure relocations from our key vendors.-Developed and executed IT hardware lifecycle management strategies, optimizing global procurement, deployment, and asset management of IT infrastructure, resulting in significant CAPEX and OPEX reductions.
