Senior Vice PresidentDasco Jul 2002 - Nov 2006Opened and staffed the Orlando office. Acquired and managed the seven building 380,000 square foot Orlando Health medical office portfolio. Worked directly for the President and Managing Partner on healthcare development and acquisition interviews and presentations. Was responsible for managing multiple teams and projects that included project proforma, entitlement, design, construction and execution of core and shell base building contracts, tenant build-out contracts and project schedules. Results: Successfully worked with internal teams to develop and lease over 365,000 square feet of new medical office buildings, and acquire over 425,000 square feet of on-campus medical office buildings. Member of the senior management team that was credited for the expansive growth, resulting in the $241m, twenty-eight building sale of the company’s medical office portfolio to CNL in September 2004. Dasco was acquired by Lend Lease in 2011.

Director Of DevelopmentHighwoods Properties Aug 1998 - Jul 2002Raleigh, North Carolina, UsDirectly responsible for the development of Capital Plaza II, a 250,000 square foot class “A” office building on Lake Eola in downtown Orlando and three, build-to-suit office projects for CNA Insurance, totaling over 160,000 square feet. All projects exceeded pro-forma projections and were completed under budget and ahead of schedule. Responsible for project pro-forma, market underwriting, construction cost and contract negotiations, design criteria and project management. Transitioned to Director of Operations to manage the 3.7m square foot, Class “A” Orlando office building portfolio. Results: Successfully maintained over 92.0% occupancy while lowering operating cost by over 6.3%. -
Senior Director Project ManagementHlm Design Feb 1995 - Aug 1998Senior member of the twelve-person on-site construction administration team responsible for overseeing the project construction, compliance and completion of the $168m, 1.2m square foot Orange County Courthouse Project. Construction administration team was responsible for field review and documentation, shop drawing review and approval, responding to contractor’s request for information, and change order review and approval. Worked with in-house legal counsel, design teams, construction manager and owner to resolve design and construction issues, change orders, schedule delays and budget variances. Negotiated and executed fee proposals, extra services agreements and third party consulting contracts. Implemented processes and procedures designed to assist owner, construction manager and design team to track and close open and outstanding issues representing cost increases and potential project delays. HLM Design was acquired by Heery International in 2005.
