    • Develop and maintain the Secured Provider Portal suite of Web Applications using Visual Studio .Net. This external facing site is used by physicians and hospitals to check eligibility and claims information and to view important policy and procedure guidelines. Highlights include re-banding the website from Great-West to Cigna which included creating a whole new interface, major usability improvements, new features. This site interfaces with two Oracle databases and utilizes Web Services. In addition, I maintain the Secured Provider Portal demonstration web site used by the field to demonstrate the capabilities of the site to providers.• Took ownership of the Medical Underwriting prototype web site and made it production ready by architecting a solution that included authentication and authorization mechanisms required to meet CIGNA's information protection mandates. This web site is used to capture the personal health history of potential customers and their dependents who work for small companies for the purpose of providing a health insurance coverage quote. The site was successfully launched in January of 2011. Since launch I have made major usability improvements, added error logging, a purge job to delete stale database data, and made the site cross browser compatible. This web site was developed using Visual Studio .Net with a backend Oracle database. • Took over maintenance of the myCignaForHealth website used by customers to view benefits and claims, to find a provider, and various tools and wellness capabilities. Worked on the project to rebrand the site with the new Cigna logo and “words we use.” This site was developed using SharePoint 2003 with two Oracle backed databases and has multiple interfaces to third party sites via web services. As a result, this design time interface became more consistent, and easier to understand and use.• Reworked the architecture of the WLI Data Integration component to fix internationalization issues. This component translates legacy data formats into XML, and XML back into legacy data formats. This subsystem synchronized data between the APC/IR database, DirecTv, and partner systems. This system opened new sales channels to DirectTv.
