1992-1997 - Worked on a number of construction jobs as a helper. Tasks ranged from site clean up to flooring to framing of walls.1997-1999 - Worked as a helper for an installer of windows, patio covers, awnings, sundecks and enclosures.1999-2000 - Complete pre-apprenticeship training at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.2000-2009 - Worked for and completed my apprenticeship with Centre Electric. Experience in the build out of a number or data centers, UPS systems, generators and general tenant commercial improvements. Worked as the Electrical Foreman for the GM Place/Rogers Arena media center. 2009 - present - Hired by Fusepoint Managed Services as a Facilities Engineer. After being acquired by SAVVIS, my position was changed to Facilities lead. In September 2012 I was promoted to the position of facilities Manager. Tasks include scheduling comprehensive preventative maintenance of UPSs, STSs, PDUs, fire systems and air conditioning units. Other tasks include customer installations, maintaining site drawings and security administration.
