Completed 29 projects with contract amounts ranging from $176,000 to $15 million dollars. Completed Twenty-six (26) renovation projects including: Nine (9) at NASA Ames Research Center; One (1) at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey; One (1) retail store in Alameda; Eleven (11) projects for various School Districts; two (2) churches; and two (2) at Moffett Field.Completed three (3) new construction projects including: a church in Colfax; an office building at Travis AFB; and a High School facility including gym, locker room buildings and pool in Watsonville.Responsibilities include: scheduling construction activities; coordinating and resolving requests for information (RFI’s) and design changes; conducting jobsite meetings; overseeing the submittal process; estimating, processing and negotiating change orders; preparing monthly progress billings; preparation of margin reports; approving subcontractor payments / invoices. Major responsibilities included:o Field Construction Engineer for a 1,100 Megawatt nuclear generating station in New Jersey. Responsible for the design, installation and modification of small bore pipe supports.o Resident Project Field Engineer – field coordinator for the design and construction of pipe whip restraints for a double unit nuclear power plant in Michigan. Reviewed designs, coordinated modifications, resolved interferences, provided technical support during construction and status assessment activities.o Structural Engineer – responsible for the modular design of an offshore platform located off the coast of Santa Barbara, CA. Designed tubular connections and major framing. Responsible for lift and transportation analysis. Performed wind vortex shedding analysis for the jacket structure. Evaluated material bids, wrote technical notes, material requisitions and purchase orders.o Structural Engineer – responsible for the design of modular well pad manifold buildings and structures in the artic region. Arranged material cost comparisons and estimates.o Preassembly Structural Engineer for a 190 ton LPG per day grassroots gas-to-gasoline synthetic petro plant in Taranki, New Zealand. Designed preassembly pipeways, platforms and vessel foundations, check calculations.
