Diagnose distributed control system issues and implement enhancements or solutions.• Provide technical and functional support for the operation and maintenance of the processing plant equipment and distributed control system.• Program, troubleshoot, and may design programs for programmable logic controllers (PLC) on GE Programs.• Review programming changes for programmable logic controllers (plc) and human machine interfaces (HMI) relative to the change control process.• Provide technical input to assist in development of project planning.• Supervise plant operations when plant manager is not on-site.• Project management skills; Prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.• Track and maintain plant equipment maintenance record system.• Understand and implement specific regulatory code requirements.• Act as liaison between information technology department and plant operations.
