County wide fund drive 1.5 million and Coordinate all Unions in St. Clair Co.

Responsible negotiate, maintain and interpret thirteen (13) collective bargaining agreements. Motivating, educating and representing over twenty seven hundred (2,700) healthcare related employees. Connected with major Hospitals and Nursing Care Homes facilities in the west Michigan area.

Created and implemented a statewide political campaign; coordinated over 22 Central Labor Councils (CLC), 16 UAW CAP-Councils and 18 Community Action Teams (CAT). Recruited over 24 Zone/CAT leads to chair and execute event, activities and action in local geographic areas. Recruited and Train volunteer teams to assisted in organizing phone banks, door to door activities and GOTV efforts; organized and managed production of many events. Personally presided over more than 140 requests events/meetings of MI State AFL-CIO affiliated unions throughout the state; reported on the results at National and State board of director meeting. Spoke at both large meetings and small gatherings state-wide for Community Constituency Groups

To direct a new joint program that combines the political/Legislative action with field mobilization. The key responsibilities are: Build relationship with statewide union leadership, to work with Local Central Labor council in strengthening the application of the Benchmarks & Standards, reports/reporting regulations and forms to ensure all remain in compliance.Educate and activate all central labor council, state affiliates and local union on behalf of endorsed candidate by the National - Michigan AFL-CIO, while running the AFL-CIO political program in the state of Michigan as the State Director, responsible for 8 zones and over 50 staff from affiliate though out the United States..Community Relations: Responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with community and business leaders, labor leadership and membership, and local elected officials; organized issue based Lobby Days, Constituent You Talk Meetings; developed and enhanced relationships with service groups, represented the AFL-CIO and presented issue and updates at a wide variety of community meetings and events.

Volunteer Development: responsibilities included two major divisions of the campaign; Labor Participation which includes eight committee members, one campaign cabinet volunteer and five labor loaned executive. Development of a yearly series of Community Services/Community Activist classes. Responsible for all information & referral calls and clients.Fundraising and Cultivation of Donors: Responsible for researching, initiating, and coordinating fundraising, development in the Manufactured Products Division with 165 business accounts, 19 out of the top 25 largest companies, in which generates over $1.5 million of the $2.7 million total Campaign. Personally manage 31 account representatives, five loaned executives, and two campaign cabinet volunteers. Government Fundraising: Managed and organized the Combined Federal Campaign and State Employee Combined Campaign, fundraising efforts with state and federal employee to contribute to foundations, government programs, and other granting organizations amounting to over $85,000Event Planning and Coordination: Selected event location and negotiated event facility contract; scheduled speakers and honorees; developed and managed production of event, including schedule, invitation, program recruited and organized volunteer team of 70 people.
