• Design and Development of exterior door handles and pull cups.• Design lead on the T1XX & T1XLF program, which carries responsibilities of weekly/ daily meetings with the customer and internal reviews with my team to disperse workloads and meet timing constraints.• Responsible for concept / development from prototype through production on all programs.• Utilized Teamcenter 10 for both GM and Chrysler• Class “A” surfacing used for warp files, studio concepts and proposals• Further responsibilities include acrylic / silicon led lighting designs, Antenna / hella hand sensors, 30g counter weight / Inertia lock up development.• Tasked to learn 3d dimensioning in CATIA & NX and learn how to utilize Anark as a translator into 4d pdf to accept the 3d dimensions. Attended training courses at GM and local user NX & CATIA forums.• Designed with NX 9.0.2, Sketcher, Wave Geometry Linker, Class “A“ surfacing & 3d dimensioning.

Design and Development of Interior trim components, such as; Cut, Sew & Wrapped (CSW), Center consoles, Door components, and liaison support on site at the customers.R&D projects with Chrysler on Design for Six Sigma studies, Such as; Seam Accuracy in 2012 and Wrapping Optimization in 2013.Injection molding, foam molding (Iso / Poly resin), loose skin wraps (PVC), collapsible armrests, gas assists, cut & sew products, ultra sonic welding, bladder forming & some Vac-Forming.R&D projects for further VA/VE cost reductions.Responsible for staying current on the latest technology, attending UGS, Catia User group meetings & creating and ordering FDM’s, SLA’s & SLS.Traveled several times to our plant in Saltillo, Mexico to launch our products and learn new technologies.
