Advanced test operator and instructor for an autonomous car company — conducting advanced testing on self-driving vehicles and training new members of the Advanced Testing team. This is a cross-functional position where I work with both software and hardware teams to build the first-ever bi-directional self-driving robo-taxi.Serves as a testing liaison, working closely with Zoox operations, product, hardware, and software teams. Responsible for conducting, documenting, and troubleshooting product updates.Collaborate with software prediction and perception teams, validating machine learning models aimed at accurately seeing and predicting the behavior of other cars, pedestrians, cyclists, and more. Worked with hardware engineers and perception teams to test a variety of sensors, including Lidar, radar, and cameras, to ensure that the vehicles accurately perceive their surroundings.Responsible for deploying new software branches to the vehicles using terminal and git commands. Used JIRA to create and track issues, Confluence to follow updated guidelines, and GitHub to review engineering changes.
