StartUP Sault is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization dedicated to fostering a supportive, thriving startup ecosystem and community in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. We connect new entrepreneurs with the small business resources available in the community, and provide support to existing entrepreneurs who are building successful companies. I had the idea for BeRenting in 2018 and made the first business plan. Production didn't start until late 2022, when I finally found the right developer. Show Starter Studios was unknowingly started in 2017, after learning startups the hard way. Since then, the startup studio has become more formal, and is launching startups faster, more affordably, and of higher quality.Being the only startup studio in northern Ontario is our advantage.

At times, I have had to survive on my own in this remote wilderness while also completing a task for my employer. Working under these stressful conditions has given me a variety of skills that are useful for any job. I have learned the importance of open and respectful communication between all individuals involved with any project that is being completed. Respectful, timely communication prevents problems and allows for maximum efficiency while completing any given task
