I lead a team that practices Extreme Programming methodologies to produce the most business value we can. We use test-driven development, pair programming, and follow an agile approach of building the most important pieces of software first. I have worked directly with large clients (1 million+ in ARR) to understand their business process and build software to fit their needs as well as the needs of other clients.

Worked with a team of developers to build and maintain applications for a risk management system. Built out a RESTful API with an AngularJS front end. Developed html renderers for a dynamic interview to collect insurance and safety information. Streamlined and added resiliency to the deployment process by automating manual steps removing risk in manual steps and decreasing the deployment time.

Developed software in C# and UNIFlow to help the DNA testing lab process samples. I spent a significant portion of my time working with my colleagues/end users understanding their needs and workflows to design systems. During one project I worked with the accessioning team to reduce the time to accession samples from 32 man-hours per day to 8 man-hours. In another project I designed and created a CRM for the call center by getting on calls with call center workers to analyze workflow and design a system that fit their needs.
