• 2005 Part of group that purchased Active Transportation with annual revenues of $35M and break-even cash flow. Upon purchase took over as Executive Vice President & CFO for the company and managed Operations in 4 states. By 2008 Company was producing $3M of annual cash flow on reduced revenues of $30M.• Critical component of the purchase and management of Jack Cooper Transport in the spring of 2009. JCT had over 1,500 employees and annual revenues of $350M with rapidly declining earnings and within days of filing for bankruptcy during the collapse of the auto industry volumes.• Developed and helped guide a rapid turnaround plan which included negotiating forbearance agreements with the banks, pricing adjustments with OEM’s, agreements with the Union for the company and restructuring of Corporate Headquarters. The instituted and developed plan took JCT from a negative $2M cash flow per month to a positive $2M cash flow per month within 6 months.• Handled negotiations with major OEM’s (Ford – GM – Toyota) for all adjustments to pricing and developed a comprehensive pricing model that was touted by Toyota as the best in the industry for my segment of their business.• Created extensive detailed budgets for the company to allow company to manage the business on a terminal level basis and to identify areas of concern and synergies within the organization.• Managed all cash flow requirements working with both customers and suppliers to ensure proper communication of timing required for the business to be successful.• Negotiated Insurance needs for all areas of the business and identified areas of waste that could be eliminated.• Worked directly with Chairman and CEO on all major projects and any potential acquisitions
