STRIVE Mentoring is a program connecting Stillwater Area High School students with adults from the community who will engage with and encourage them during these key years of their young life. Research shows that students who have trustworthy relationships with adults who are not their parents or teachers are beneficial for teenagers in many ways: increases their self-worth, gains perspective of the world around them, and gives them a sense of opportunities for their future. Our experience is that through mentorship, students are inspired to excel.

Work with a volunteer leadership team to bring Compass Public School ministry for educators to the east metro of the Twin Cities. Compass is a church based, gospel centered, public school ministry. As the Compass family has grown, we have seen God use this community to bring the light of Christ into MN schools. Educators and families are better understanding God’s call...to live out and share their faith authentically. It is our prayer that Compass will encourage those called into the public schools and give them a vision for impact.

I help local Salvation Army units throughout Minnesota and North Dakota look beyond their walls, examining community needs, trends and opportunities within the context of The Salvation Army’s unique calling. The goal is to build consensus and a plan within, that sets the stage for reaching out, whether through new or enhanced programs, facility expansion or relocation, or capacity building. I work closely with Salvation Army officers, corps members, staff, board and community leaders to design a unique plan to fulfill their vision.

Assist on contract-basis nonprofits and fundraising companies on direct marketing strategy & implementation, business development and capacity building. Current clients include The Salvation Army--Northern Division, The Salvation Army--Booth Brown House, and Summit Marketing--a direct marketing firm serving The Salvation Army across the United States.
