I am a former library operations supervisor and technical writer with expertise in documentation, management, data analytics, and process improvement. I have a passion for clear and effective communication. I love developing engaging and usable content, whether an SOP, training module, or simply an email. I also have extensive experience in employee on-boarding and training. I have a strong background in customer service that I bring to any role. I will work constantly with my team and stakeholders to better meet the needs of the customer or end user.I am curious and creative. I enjoy using my analytical skills and critical thinking to solve problems. I also look for opportunities to learn new technical skills. I taught myself Microsoft Access, SQL, advanced spreadsheets, and VBA, then used them extensively at work. More recently, I have learned the basics of R and Python.I like to keep my perspective global. As a technical writer, I supported teams on six continents. At a personal level, I enjoy travel and cross cultural communication. I have also studied and used both French and Japanese at an intermediate level. When communicating and developing content, I always try to write for a global audience.
