This has never been done at this scale by a carrier and is very much like the widening of a freeway. We all want more lanes so that there is less traffic, but none of us want to go through the construction process. These two technology changes proved to be an enormous task. They were both bigger and more challenging that we could have ever imagined. The team kept their heads held high through this. I am proud to have supported them during this time and can’t say enough about their work ethic, commitment to do what’s right for the customer and overall ability to stay focused and mentally shift gears daily to get the job done. We moved over 25k+ Nextel handsets/users off the network and managed a customer base generating over $800K in monthly revenue. Our success was cap stoned with my honor of representing our team at Presidents Circle for our 2013 Sales Achievements. -
