My passion for security drives my work. Personally, my goal is to teach good security hygiene to everyone I come in contact with. Professionally, accomplishing that personal goal drives a greater culture of security among an organization's employees, protecting the data owned by the company, its employees, customers, vendors and other stakeholders by developing and nurturing trust and cooperation.I have either begun or inherited a multitude of programs, technologies and responsibilities in my career and have always done my best to make sure transparency is goal number one. In doing so, I have had around 10% improvement in overall effectiveness of each item coupled with several qualitative improvements such as trust level, error detection and correction, customer and employee satisfaction and more. Trust in your tools requires a healthy understanding of how they fit in your security strategy, and I help employees, managers and executives understand the strategic concepts where they intersect with their work and ensure that they have a strong understanding and support for operating securely.
