He has a proven track record for taking nascent businesses and placing them in the national media spotlight where they have become thriving industry categories on their own. He also understands the importance of local clienteles and has built brand awareness for businesses in the Mid-Atlantic and hundreds of U.S. communities both large and small.He is in his 33rd year with Baltimore-based TBC, Inc. where -- for nearly 20 years -- he's been with the the PR team for MinuteClinic, the nation’s largest provider of retail medical clinics with nearly 1000 clinics in CVS/pharmacy and Target stores in 36 states and the District of Columbia. He also serves as a PR counselor at Choptank Communications, a strategic communications firm started by his wife Andrea Vernot.Brent has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America. He served as Chairman of the Board for Community Law in Action, a Baltimore non-profit promoting youth leadership. He is a graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership Program and the Perley Isaac Reed of School of Journalism at West Virginia University.
