For the past 10+ years, I've been obsessed with understanding how search engines work, and how to apply that knowledge to help financial advisors grow their business online. In the spring of 2010, after completing my MBA in Financial Planning, I left my teaching position and started Advisor Web Marketing. I have recently rebranded as Advisor Rankings to focus on our commitment to search engine optimization. My wife, Katie, and I have 2 young adult children and reside in Boise, Idaho with our spoiled dog "Red". When I'm not SEOing or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, writing, movies, and golf. I'm a casual sports fan and cheer for the Boise State teams and Oregon State basketball, the Calgary Flames and Las Vegas Golden Knights, and the Las Vegas Raiders.
