I studied Advanced Draughting at the Academy of Draughting in Cape Town with Mechanical, Architectural, Piping, Civil, Electrical and Structural disciplines as my subjects. As a Senior Designer at Paterson and Cooke I have gained experienced in the field of mining. I am the Drawing Office Manager for our offices around North America and Canada. My role here is to ensure our offices adhere to our high design standards from PFD, P&ID’s, general arrangements and detail drawings. I have also been involved with construction and quality assurance on various Pilot Plant projects.Since joining Paterson & Cooke I have gained experience in design from feasibility stage through to detail design stage of various tailings preparation plants and delivery systems, mine backfill plants and underground pipeline distribution systems, long distance concentrate and ore pipeline transport systems, marine mining systems as well as pilot plant projects.
