I've always loved solving puzzles. In my 10+ years working in Information Technology, I've gotten to solve quite a few. From researching and customizing solutions to suit a unique user base, to diagnosing and repairing a range of hardware, software, and websites, every puzzle has added to my scope of experience.I am driven by a passion for helping others, leveraging problem solving skills and creative solutions with a focus on the user experience. And I'm always seeking a new frontier - a new challenge, a new puzzle - whether it's developing enhanced technology assets for an organization, providing targeted training for my users, or integrating new technology workflows and processes.Highlights of my career so far include: - Building Howard Gardner's K-8 IT Department and Business Office from scratch: I started with a dozen aging PCs, and four years later had interactive whiteboards in every classroom, a 1:1 device program for students, and over 300 laptops, tablets, and PCs integrated into the school curriculum, while collaborating to achieve a 40%+ increase in enrollment. - Leading the Windows 7 EOL transition with the Diocese of Scranton, where I upgraded, rebuilt, or replaced over 200 computers in offices spanning three counties in an 18 month period, ensuring a complete transition prior to the end-of-life date. - Designing and implementing technology for the flagship IST classroom for Penn State Scranton, which included PCs for each each student, a built-in lab server, and leading-edge instructor technology, including 3x laser projectors with independent or collective projection capability and an integrated streaming system for remote collaboration.I'm looking to partner with people and organizations who champion thinking differently and who seek to truly help others.
