My primary job is working with insurance agents and financial advisors design and implement Disability Income and Long-Term Care insurance solutions for their individual and business clients.

My first, and thankfully last, foray into retail sales. I would work at the store over my winter and summer breaks from college. I worked in almost every department over my time there. Team Sports, Apparel and Shoes. I certainly gained a lot of respect for the hours and duties of the employees in retail stores. Please don't rummage through the stacks of clothes. Someone has to come behind you and re-fold all of them.

I will never forget the day my Dad came home after I turned 16 and told me that I now had a job at McDonald's. He said that I was going to learn the value of the education I was receiving. I certainly did. I worked the grill and helped close the restaurant at nights. You come home at night with greasy shoes and smelling like fries. You would think the experience would make me swear off McDonald's forever. Nope. Their fries are awesome.
