- As part of a team, develop strategies and objectives for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). - Support development and implementation of the corporate OHSMS. - Collaborate with your client’s leadership teams, for example: Water Utility, Calgary Transit, Parks, Engineering, and Facility Management. - Deliver coaching, mentoring, training, and orientation support. - Provide incident management, emergency response planning and hazard assessment oversight for Supervisors and Managers. - Provide ongoing communication related to the OHSMS, corporate initiatives and key performance indicators for client’s management teams. - Assist with managing contractors including prequalifying, reviewing safety plans, monitoring and guidance for the contract managers.
