I am a trial lawyer with a natural propensity for understanding the most complex cases, organizing multiple moving pieces, and clearly explaining complicated evidence to judges and juries. I have been on my feet in courtrooms since the earliest days of my legal career and have applied my understanding of technical matters in trial work for clients like AbbVie, Energy Future Holdings, and Dow Chemical. In addition to my core commercial litigation practice, I have had key litigation roles in two of the largest bankruptcy cases of the last five years.Now a partner in Kirkland’s Chicago office, I began my career as a product specialist for Abbott Laboratories in its Diagnostics Division. I received my B.A. from Cornell University with distinction and graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School. Through my work as an attorney, I have been honored to represent several pro bono clients in federal district and appellate litigation and in immigration proceedings.Focus Areas: Complex litigation, including product liability, toxic tort, restructuring, audit malpractice, employment disputes, and securities litigation.
