I commenced working in the construction industry in 2003. I completed a Bachelor of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering degree at RMIT University, Melbourne Campus whilst gaining valuable industry experience in parallel. I have worked solely in Western Australia since 2008. My career in WA has been very broad as I have been fortunate to find opportunities in varied sections of the resources industry delivering a wide range of projects, literally from Pit to Port.I have a passion for developing and maintaining good relationships both within the businesses I have worked for and with Clients. I am always up for getting into the technical details of all facets of construction projects, especially with things are challenging.Since 2018 I have been working mostly in the marine construction space. Leveraging from developed skills within civil infrastructure works, I have worked hard to develop technical and risk management skills in the delivery of marine projects.Looking forward I have interest in the future of our industry, most notably in the renewable energy prospects for WA. I believe WA is well placed to lead Australia in our transition to renewable energy on an industrial scale. When outside of work my hobbies include brewing beer using my self made microbrewery, spending time with my two dogs and I also like to always have my next holiday with my wife at least planned.
