I've been working in the civil engineering industry for nearly 5 years. The last four years have been spent as an observer overseeing the installation of underground utilities and the building of roads. My responsibilities typically include QA/QC of materials and methods, quantity tracking, communication coordination between clients and contractors, creating as-builts of installed utilities, and minor surveying efforts. Outside of my professional career, I am apart of several music projects that perform periodically around Michigan. I also spend a decent amount of time skiing, playing disc golf, and taking care of my dog. I also am a commercial painter on the side when work is slow or supplementary income is needed.
