Building is currently on National Historic Registry. Researched and wrote grant for National Park Service’s Save America’s Treasures Grant and was awarded $125,000 federal matching grant for historic preservation on February 1, 2011. Led the non-profit with Development Director Janet Elizabeth Donoghue in raising $263,000 of $300,000 in a capital campaign for preservation of Buckminster Fuller’s original dome home in Carbondale.

This magazine, which ceased publication after thirty-four issues, was known music industry-wide. Covering insurgent music and culture, Tail Spins included investigative features, interviews and reviews. • Responsible for business management / development, sales, marketing, production and editing for both publications.• Developed advertising sales methodology, including system for prospecting new leads and flexible communications strategy. Responsible for raising $1.7 million in advertising revenue.• Trained advertising sales staff on all aspects of ad sales, including lead prospecting, optimum written and verbal communications, effective sales closing strategies and customer service.

Developed and managed two record labels. Signed fifteen bands and produced over thirty releases during six-year period. Coordinated and supervised mastering, production, distribution and promotion for all 7”, cassette and CD releases.

Solicited and acquired songs from recognized Midwestern alternative rock bands (including Seam, The Mekons, and Freakwater).• Managed the anti-handgun violence CD’s mastering process, including audio equalization and sequencing.
