As a Purchasing Manager I am responsible for replenishment of 2200 stocked items. I use Blue Ridge Supply Chain & Demand Forecasting software to minimize carrying costs, refine order efficiency, and maximize profits. My stock items include Grocery, Frozen, Non-food, and Center of Plate. I work daily with vendors, sales, customer service, logistics, warehouse, and accounting. I also field hundreds of special order requests from customers.

Daily ordering and inventory maintenance. Balancing stocked items by using volume movers to balance novelty items. Monthly inventory to analyze cost of goods sold. Price shopping between vendors to ensure maximum profit. Keeping up with rotating special & sales. Being the face of Natural Grocers. Suggestive selling for impulse buys. Submitting invoices & credit requests

Manage product flow in & out of kitchen. Order and manage all food items. Decrease food cost through portion control, waste management, and price shopping. Pricing entrees to ensure menu balance and profitability. Maintain food integrity. Enforce sanitary work conditions in accordance with Oklahoma Health Department. Monthly inventory to assess cost of goods sold. Reduce labor / increase productivity. Hiring, training, and managing staff. Delegate tasks to ensure workload balance between stations. Communicate regularly in Spanish. Menu planning for a la carte, banquets, and wine dinner. Create weekly specials.
